Lebanon’s army said Israeli soldiers briefly entered southern Lebanon then withdrew after a Hezbollah militant group report said its fighters clashed with Israeli troops on two towns in the border.

11. Iran strikes Mossad Headquarter and Israel Air Base

Iranian state media claimed missile attacks against Israel hit the headquarters of the Mossad and several military bases, which house F-35 fighter jets, including certain air bases.
Iranian chief of staff Mohammad Bagheri said this ballistic attack was “a part of Operation True Promise II” which Iran had launched in retaliation for the murder of leading figures of Hezbollah and Hamas by Israel.

India asked for protection of civilians and insisted that the conflict should not expand to a wider regional war.

As a preemptive step, nations are strengthening security measures around Israeli embassies. In Delhi, security outside the Israeli embassy has been increased, as Danish authorities probe two blasts that happened near the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen.
