Places which are at risk: Yellow alert has been put in for North Interior and South Interior Karnataka, especially with Bengaluru marked out there, which means there will be heavy rain, lightning, thunderstorms, gusty winds along with isolated squalls.
Coastal Districts: There is no special weather warning for today for the coastal districts in Karnataka. However, there’s a possibility that heavy rain accompanied by thunder/lightning is predicted for the Malnad districts bordering along the coast.

Places subject to flash flooding: People residing in places prone to flash flooding are advised to be on the look out for local advisories and take precautions not to get waterlogged.
